Last Tuesday all of our Year 5 pupils journeyed overseas to the exotic island known locally as the Isle of Wight. On the ferry all pupils were buzzing with excitement and eager to know who they were rooming with and what activities they could look forward to.
Year 5 PGL trip – Little Canada (Isle of Wight)
On arrival although dry it was exceptionally windy, but our pupils did themselves proud by throwing themselves into every challenge. This was demonstrated on the first morning by the fact that every one of them climbed all the way to the top of the Trapeze podium, some 30ft in the air!
They experienced a range of exciting activities throughout the week including: visiting Osbourne House,Tunnel trail, Orienteering, Trapeze, Sea Kayaking & Canoeing, Minibeast Safari, Climbing and of course the Disco.
As always the pupils were a credit to Hawley Place with their caring attitude to others and their determination in the activities.
